Welcome to Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church. We are glad
you stopped by for a website visit. We are a community of people responding to
the call of Jesus Christ to follow him. To the best that we can, it is our
desire to follow Christ as the Leader of our lives. It is a spiritual journey
where many are in various places along the way, but we are not alone. We are
one community of travelers, working together to experience life the way God
intended. The Lovettsville area is growing fast, and we are growing with it. We
have abundant opportunities to serve and love our neighbors. Our central
purpose is: Leading people to grow in Christ through worship, fellowship,
ministry and witness We invite you to be our guest. Come and feel genuinely
welcomed by warm handshakes and joyful smiles from a multi-generational family.
Come and experience a connection with a living and present God in our worship.
Come and discover a place to know God, to grow in your relationship with him,
and be used by him to transform lives. We offer a choice of two worship styles,
times, and locations every Sunday. At 8:45 a.m. is our contemporary worship
with a praise band and multi-media. This service is held at the larger building
known as Fox Hall. At 10:00 a.m. is our traditional worship with hymn singing
and responsive readings. This service is held in our traditional sanctuary.
Childcare is available at both worship times. We hope you will be our guest
